Non-cooks look at these knife cut sets and don't get it! Seasoned cooks look at them and understand immediately.

The whole point of creating these knife-cut kits is to teach consistency to young culinary artists. Producing consistent knife-cuts is the key to creating a consistent meal. It not only looks cooks better.  

A lot of things must come together to produce an exquisite meal. Excellence in cooking comes from practice. From consistency. From creativity. Many of the things an excellent cook does are overlooked by the casual observer. Afterall - cooking is NOT the ability to throw ingredients together. That can be done by anyone.
